Chunu: A Tale of Survival is an animated poster inspired by a disturbing video I saw online that revealed the harsh reality of survival in nature. I created Chunu as a symbol of innocence and suffering, using posture, lighting, and color to express emotion without showing graphic violence. The glowing hand above Chunu suggests spiritual presence and the idea of energy continuing beyond the physical body. One of the main challenges was designing the monkey’s face with emotion while keeping it true to real features. This project helped me understand how design can communicate powerful stories and shaped my growth as a visual storyteller.
