For this project, I designed an Annual Report for the Arts Council of Winston-Salem & Forsyth County. I began by researching the organization, its programs, mission, and community impact. I also studied several professional annual reports to understand how information is organized and presented in a clear and engaging way.
After developing a content plan, I created rough sketches to explore the placement of images, text, charts, and supporting graphics throughout the report. I collected approximately 20 images from the Council's website and edited them in Adobe Photoshop to ensure consistency and visual quality.
The entire report was designed in Adobe InDesign, making this my first large-scale publication project using the software. Through this process, I gained valuable experience in creating multi-page layouts, maintaining visual consistency, and managing a large document from concept to completion.
My goal was to create a clean, image-driven annual report that reflected the creative spirit of the organization. To support this concept, I incorporated bold brushstroke graphics and vibrant visual elements inspired by artistic expression while maintaining a professional and readable layout. I also added interactive features to the PDF version, creating a more engaging digital experience for readers.
